About us

We are an international group of people from various walks of life and with different
academic backgrounds, brought together for a single reason. We were all searching
for a natural way of selecting the gender of our children. All of us were drawn to the
Chinese Gender Calendar, but having studied calendars and instructions presented
on the internet and discussed the subject on forums, we realized that there is not
much truth out there. Pure speculations, sometimes presented as facts, are echoing
everywhere.

The calendar is often presented as pure entertainment that should not be taken
serious. What all of us have in common and the reason for launching this website, is
that we believe the opposite. Ancient China was an advanced civilization and their
scientists were hardly superstitious. They simply had a deeper knowledge about the
processes of nature and the cosmos than most modern scientists have today.

Based on our view of the calendar, we are striving to present as accurate and useful
information as possible. Our objective is to deepen people's understanding for the
